Reintroduction

Hello, and welcome to my blog.  My name is Tom, and I am 38 years old.  A little bit about myself is that I live in Northeast Pennsylvania in the Poconos.  I currently work nights 4-5 days a week as a desk clerk in a warehouse. It’s a job that right now, I’m content with. I’m not entirely happy where I work, but it pays the bills.  When I’m not at work, I will usually be watching a movie or play a video game.  I love to go out and try any room escapes, discover new areas and activities, and overall, find anything that I’ve been missing out on for the past 38 years of my life.  

I wanted to start blogging and had about 2 years ago.  I wanted to have a new place where I can put my thoughts on movies, video games, and other topics that interest me, and that could interest others.  Last year I brought my name as a domain to try and make things look more professional.  My original intent was to blog about more and video games and maybe start to earn money, gain followers and hope even to have civil discussions about what I may have missed that made a game or movie good or bad.  But, I wanted to fully talk about them, including anything that spoils out essential story elements. I’ll admit that entirely blogging about a movie (spoilers and all) shouldn’t have been the best approach to grow an audience.  Going forward, I will change up at least the format of how I approach blogging.  I will still have spoilers, but I won’t put them up as soon as the beginning of my post.

I still would and will blog about movies and video games.  But I won’t have a spoiler warning at the top of the page.  It will come later towards the end of the post, but I will have a notice when I do this.  My format is going to consist of:

• Movie/Game 
• Summary
• Liked or Didn’t like it
• Reasoning for liking or disliking (spoilers will be in this section)

Nothing is finite with me, so I don’t know where at the moment what direction I would go.  The blog is a work in progress from now until I decided to quit.  There also may be times I summarize a few movies and games at a time. I’ve seen a bunch of movies, or played a bunch of games and can’t fully put out an article on one film or video game.  In this case, I will do “movies/games that I’ve seen this week/month.”  

This isn’t the most natural thing that I have done.  You can look back on my webpage and see how many times that I have tried and seemingly failed with try to meet a deadline, or saying that I would do a post and it turned out that I didn’t do one.  I can’t know why this time is going to be any different from that last posts that I said I would do something.  But I will try if I get the views and support that I need.
