June 2018 Update

Hello everyone:

I hope you are all having a great start to your summer of 2018.  I am going to post updates the first Friday’s of each month.  It seems like a good point to update everyone on what is going on and what I am trying to do.  If this is your post visit to one of my updates welcome or isn’t your first time here, I’d like to apologize if my May 2018 blog update sounded harsh.  I was getting people who kept calling what I am doing reviews, and let it get to me.  I don’t want to review but discuss and spoil (assuming you didn’t see what I post).  If you figured out I liked a movie or not, that is fine.  I just don’t want to ever tell anyone to see or movie or not based on what I saw.  Everyone has the choice to see or not see a movie if they wish.  What I like will be different from what you like.  This is a site to communicate and help me what I watch or play.  If I missed something or forget to mention anything, comment or contact me.  I usually am limited on time and left it out and it could have been something that I thought would be important to mention.    

I would have had this done earlier but I had a lawn mover blade bent while I was cutting the grass.  I hit a well embedded rock and had to replace it.  I also got and having problems upgrading to an iPad Pro from my iPad Air 2.  I got the 10.5 inch screen.  This model iPad was on sale this past Memorial Day Weekend.  I’m sure it was the start of the clearance since WWDC in Monday.  WWDC or World Wide Developers Conference is Apple’s software updates and announcements, but sometimes they slip in hardware updates like iPads or Apple Watches.  Maybe I will have more to say about the tablet in the future.  For now, I will say that the screen is large.  Much larger than I thought for the 10.5 inch screen.  It’s just a pain to move everything from one tablet to another and the length of time the updates are taking.

I might go back and edit some of my photos.  Bring the resolution down and decreasing the size of the picture or pictures I originally posted.  I have a premium plan with WordPress and 13 GB is not a lot of room.  I have USB memory sticks that can hold more than what I’m given.  I mostly likely won’t be putting up photos in the future unless I have to show an example of a point that I am trying to make.   I may be moving videos to YouTube or video sharing for room saving as well.

 I tried to do a 2-3 posts a week, but given my full-time work schedule and being stuck in overtime, I think that I only going to post whenever I can for now.  It’s tougher to do than I realized.  I’ll post regularly, right now it won’t be as regular as I would like it to be.  I do plan to mention in terms of movies Incredibles 2 and maybe Ocean’s 8 in the future.  As for games, I might be sticking to shorter games for now.
